UV/LED light-curable adhesives bond glass and other difficult substrates such as COC/COP thermoplastics used for in-vitro diagnostics applications. Rapid assembly of microplates, lab-on-chip devices, and silicon wafers used in blood and tissue testing is possible with fast light curing, one-component formulations that require no mixing. Products with Dymax® Ecnompass® or patented See-Cure and Ultra-Red® fluorescing technologies are available.

  • UV/Visible broad-spectrum bulb or LED array curing
  • Moisture-resistant formulations (some products)
  • Bond rigid and flexible substrates
  • Encompass, See-Cure, or Ultra-Red® technologies
  • Adhere to difficult substrates like COC/COP

N/A Flexible, High-Viscosity Multipurpose Medical Adhesive for Plastics Assembly

MD® 1201-M-GEL-SC medical device adhesive rapidly bonds a variety of flexible and rigid plastics typically used in the manufacture of medical devices. This product features Dymax®'s® patented See-Cure technology for easy visual confirmation of material placement and verification of full cure. Bondable substrates include PC, PVC, PU, ABS, and PET as well as PEBA. Applications include the assembly of reservoirs, catheters, tube sets, and fittings. 1201-M-GEL-SC also meets a variety of ISO 10993 biocompatibility approvals.

MD® Medical Device adhesives have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax® light-curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for medical device assembly. lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.

MD® 1201-M-GEL-SC medical device adhesive is in full compliance.
