Dymax® 12 in wide UV Curing Conveyor Systems (UVCS) offer consistent, fast, and safe UV curing. Designed for curing UV curable adhesives, coatings, and inks, these systems can be outfitted with a standard metal halide (longwave) or mercury (shortwave) bulbs.
This UV cure oven does not emit stray UV light and can be outfitted with one, two, or four moderate-intensity 5000-EC UV flood lamps.

Selection of Lamps

N/A These lamps provide moderate intensity (~200 mW/cm2) over a 6" x 6" (approximate) curing area. Their 400-Watt auto-switching power supplies accept 90 to 264 Volts AC and 47 to 63 Hz. With normal use, 5000-EC bulbs will retain approximately 90% of their original intensity after 1,000 hours. 5000-EC lamps are recommended for small-to-medium throughput bonding applications. For faster or more tack-free cures, Fusion F300 lamps are recommended.

UVCS series conveyors can be outfitted with either 5000-EC lamps or Fusion F300 lamps.

N/A Dymax® UVCS 2.0 Conveyor with 5000-EC Lamps

The UVCS 2.0 series of light-curing conveyor systems can be outfitted with 1, 2, or 4 medium- to high-intensity lamps that can be outfitted with standard metal halide (longwave) or mercury (shortwave) bulbs. These systems offer fast, consistent UV curing of adhesives, coatings, and inks and feature line speeds of 1 to 32 fpm. With a 4 in, 6 in, or 10 in vertical clearance, they are ideal for conveying and curing larger components quickly. The conveyors have vacuum hold down and integral cooling features and are shielded so they don’t emit stray light.

Manufacturing Notes

N/A UVCS conveyors are available without lamps for those customers that have previously purchased 5000-EC or Fusion F300 lamps. Additional lamps may be incorporated into UVCS conveyors after initial purchase (from one or two Fusion lamps, or up to four 5000-ECs). Contact Dymax® Application Engineering for configuration assistance.
