Optical adhesives provide low-stress, low-movement, and gap filling to 1/4 inch for lens bonding, laminating, and positioning, VCSEL potting, optical mounting, and fiber optic assembly applications. One-part optical epoxies cure in seconds to UV/Visible light and bond well to glass, metal, ceramic, quartz, and plastic substrates. High-tensile-strength, optically clear bonds of 3,000 psi, and shrinkage as low as 0.1% are possible.

 N/A Multi-Purpose Light-Curable Optical Adhesive

Dymax® OP-29-GEL UV curable optical adhesive forms tough, resilient bonds to glass, metals, and a variety of plastics including polycarbonate and polyimide. OP-29-GEL adhesive cures in seconds upon exposure to UV light.

Recommended applications include tacking, bonding, potting, and sealing.

Dymax® materials are no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs.
