Moisture-Resistant Multipurpose Medical Device Adhesive Rapidly bond flexible and rigid plastics typically used in medical device assembly with MD® 1187-M-GEL medical device adhesive. This moisture-resistant, flexible plastics bonder cures in seconds upon exposure to UV/Visible light. The product is ideally suited for the assembly of tube sets, fittings, and reservoirs, as well as drug delivery devices and water carboys. For in-line quality inspection, the material fluoresces blue under low-intensity black light (365 nm). Bondable substrates include PC, PVC, SAN, and PS as well as PET. The adhesive also meets a variety of ISO 10993 biocompatibility approvals. Dymax® MD® Medical Device adhesives have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax® light-curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for medical device assembly. Dymax® lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures. MD® 1187-M-GEL medical device adhesive is in full compliance |
